Horseback Riding in the San Juan National Forest
When you think of the West, Horseback riding naturally comes to mind. Check out beautiful views of Chimney Rock, and the sparse and beautiful land scape that is the San Juan National Forest. Smell the pines as the sun warms up the mountains, and see the beautiful wildlife of the Mountains.
We Run Trail Rides May 15th through September 1st, of each year.
Booking can be done online by following the link below. We welcome those who are 6 years old and up, and we do have a weight limit of 250 lbs.
You may book 12 hours prior to your desired date and time. Cancelation with full refund within 48 hours.
We run our trail rides at 8 am, 10:30 am, and 6 pm, with groups up of 5 people or less. Our Trail Excursions Run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Once you have booked your excursion, you will be emailed a Liability Waiver via DocuSign, please sign and return this form as soon as possible. We need your height and weight information to have the correct horses and saddles ready for your ride and for your safety. If you do not have this information filled out prior to your ride, your trail ride maybe shortened so the wranglers can pull and equip the horses.
If you have a larger group please contact the office and we will be happy to try and accommodate you. We do have helmets available, and we can also lead line if you feel unsure or nervous about your excursion.
