BackCountry Outfitters offers antelope hunts on strictly private lands within various ranches in northeast New Mexico. We provide lodging at Springer Station NM, and have all meals at their dinner next to the lodging.  These are private land permits.

One of our guides will accompany 2-3 hunters on a 3 day hunt through 18 square miles of ranch. While these hunts are designed for all ages and physical conditions, these ranches are in no way crowded. Having more than 4 hunters on a ranch at one time is a rarity.

Our guides have enjoyed a great deal of success in recent years. A number of our hunts have resulted in record bucks, with average horns at 14-1/2". Don't set your sights too low however, we've seen quite a few 16" bucks taken home!

Antelope licenses are guaranteed, and require no draw or landowner permits. You'll need to arrive a day prior (we recommend by 4pm). Bring your personal gear and license, we'll take care of the rest!
